FT 60 Water Filter
The FT 60 reusable cartridge softener is a very effective and economical drinking water treatment system. Thanks to its reusability, it helps reduce pollution and achieve significant savings over the years.
The resin blend inside, specifically designed for the best espresso delivery, enables the removal of calcium and magnesium in both carbonate and bicarbonate forms, thus ensuring complete protection for boilers and exchangers against limescale deposits.
Installation
Our cartridge can only be installed in a vertical position. Since it is equipped with a half-inch female thread, to connect it hydraulically it is necessary to use a 1/2 male cylindrical fitting / automatic fitting 8 or 6, or a 3/8 male conical fitting. After connecting the cartridge, let the water run for 5 seconds in order to stabilize the resin bed.
Maintenance
The cartridge shows, at the bottom, the production batch corresponding to the week and year of manufacture. If properly stored and sealed in a dry and clean place, the cartridge has a shelf life of 36 months. For models equipped with activated carbon only, once the protective caps are removed, make sure to rinse the contents of the cartridge by letting 10 liters of water flow through at maximum pressure in order to eliminate any residues that may have formed during manufacturing.
