FT 40 Water Filter
The FT 40 reusable cartridge softener is a very effective and economical drinking water treatment system. Thanks to its reusability, it helps reduce pollution and allows for significant savings over the years.
The resin mixture inside, specially designed for optimal espresso coffee extraction, allows for the removal of calcium and magnesium in both carbonate and bicarbonate form, thus ensuring complete protection for boilers and heat exchangers against limescale buildup.
Installation
Our cartridge can only be installed vertically. Since it is equipped with a half-inch female thread, in order to connect it hydraulically, it will be necessary to use a 1/2 male cylindrical fitting / automatic fitting 8 or 6 or 3/8 male conical fitting. Once the cartridge is connected, let water run for 5 seconds to stabilize the resin bed.
Maintenance
The cartridge bears, at the bottom, the production lot corresponding to the week and year of manufacture. If properly stored and sealed, and placed in a dry and clean location, the cartridge has a storage life of 36 months. For models equipped with activated carbon, once the protective caps are removed, care should be taken to rinse the cartridge contents by passing 10 liters of water at maximum pressure, in order to remove any residues that may have formed during manufacturing.
